The Two Important Keys for Success in 2021
I believe the keywords for 2021 are instruction and consistency. The times that we are living in are unpredictable and quite volatile.
Tensions are high, and sparks are flying everywhere. It is easy to get caught up in the fires blazing all around, but who knows what the aftermath will look like?
Right now, it is time to patiently seek counsel from God to know what your response must be: to understand what you have to do.
It will cost something to walk slow in the parade of the ages, while excited men of time rush about confusing motion with progress…
…but it will pay in the long run and the true Christian is not much interested in anything short of that.

In Genesis chapter 26, the Bible tells the story of Isaac, son of Abraham. During his time, there was a great famine in the land. The trend was to go to Egypt for relief from the dearth.
However, God instructed Isaac not to go to Egypt but to remain in Gerar. He remained there, planted and reaped a great harvest.
There are instructions that you must receive from God to operate in this worldwide season of drought. I encourage you to patiently wait (by praying and meditating on God’s word) and listen for the counsel from Him.
So, you’ve received the instruction…
…what next?!
Initially, there will be excitement at finally knowing what to do. But after a while, the excitement dies down reality sets.
You might even realize that the instructions you’ve received from God are not trending.
I bet that after Isaac planted the seeds in the dusty, parched soil, the weeks that followed were mentally torturous.
The Bible doesn’t provide details, but let your imagination paint the scene for you.
How many times do you think he would have argued with himself whether he had made the right decision?
How difficult would it have been to keep tending to the crops when the climate seemed hopeless?
Consistency is what you’ll need to make it: consistently following the given instruction. Once you are sure of the direction you are supposed to take, keep going.
You might not be getting the results you imagined but keep at it.
If the instruction is from God, you’ll surely do more than breakeven: you will reap a great harvest.
